By Michael H. Brown
It's one of the most "out there" predictions. And has quite a following:
The notion that some day, someway, as part of unfolding events (and they are unfolding), the world will encounter three days of terrifying darkness.
Who can resist something so dramatic!
But is there really any credible way for such a thing to occur?
I've written about this before -- though not with some of the information you will now see: recent cases that perhaps, only perhaps, but perhaps -- indicate such an event is at least in the realm of the possible.
As I have said, much of it springs from French convents in the 1700s and 1800s, which were rife with mystical nuns. More on that in a moment.
And also from the Old Testament, wherein Moses stretched out his hand and caused... three days of darkness over Egypt.
In much more recent times -- during the past hundred years, and in some cases, during the past decade or so -- folks have encountered inexplicable, unnerving, and complete darkness.
Let's take a look at all of it -- the recent cases and the context. Could we face an event that will black out the world, or a large part of it?
Might we find ourselves in a palpable darkness, like what they describe for lower purgatory?
Where have such events already occurred -- in North America?
Three days darkness.
