The Bible speaks of "demons" -- as well as "ghosts" and "unclean spirits." Take it from personal experience: both demons and spirits of the deceased can be negative and hurtful, hard to distinguish. Yet, today most in the Church almost totally ignore the subject.
Naturally, we can't allow ourselves to be overly fascinated or obsessed by the dark part of the spiritual dynamic surrounding humans, nor to imagine things out of paranoia. Fear is counter-productive. It actually feeds fuel into the fire.
At the same time, it can be worse to ignore or scoff at it.
A "balance" must be reached. These forces can cause discouragement, depression, obsession, despair, they darken the sky, they cause dissension, they try to split of families and friends, they show themselves first as confusion and anxiety -- a lack of peace, sometimes a shudder of the spine, goosebumps, shortness of breath, a fit of coughing, a sensation on the skin.
I get mail on a constant basis about dark spirits plaguing folks out there -- some in a serious, sobering, even alarming manner. Such spirits have affected our society at large by influencing our entertainers, media, industrialists, scientists, educators, and leaders.
But what about the personal aspect: are there spirits that cause mayhem in our lives -- unseen?
Could it be true that the most famous rock-and-roll group of all time was "channeling" such entities -- along with other bands? Has it affected all of us, unkowingly?
Do Masonic rites attract such spirits to their "lodges"? Are they "haunted"? Are there lodges with dark entities?
Or is it just legend and myth -- and superstition -- that spirits hover around the place of their demise -- and around graves?
And my own experiences?
Let's call this, "The entities among us."
The questions await discussion (as do startling examples) in this new "special report."
